Patricia Arquette

Though the road to stardom has never been fast and easy for Patricia Arquette, it's never too late for the 39-year old actress to become another household name. Thanks to her hit TV series, "Medium," she doesn't have to be forever cast behind the shadow of former husband, Nicolas Cage.

Born in Chicago on April 8, 1968, it's no secret at all how she turned out to be one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. With a knack not only for dramatic scenes but also for hitting the punchline alongside Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler, Patricia Arquette actually hailed from a family of acting geniuses. Her grandfather was a humorist, while her parents and four famous siblings also had their own share of the acting limelight.

She was 18 when she first starred in "Pretty Smart" -- a jumpstart to her other roles in TV-made, low-budgeted films. Patricia Arquette then grabbed a Best Actress trophy for a miniseries in the 1992 CableAce Award. She had her comedic stint in "Flirting Disaster" (1996) and "Little Nicky" (2000) but is most recognized in her moving performances in "True Romance" (1993), "Ed Wood" (1994), "Lost Highway" (1997), and "Stigmata" (1999).
