Maria Sharapova

A successful Russian tennis athlete, Maria Sharapova was born on April 19, 1987. Even as a kid, Sharapova already showed her talent as an athlete and started her professional training under the tutelage of Robert Lansdorp and Michael Baroch.

Popularly recognized for her loud grunts during actual plays, Sharapova's statuesque beauty made her a popular player among the readers of FHM and Maxim, two well-known men's magazines. Her success as a professional tennis athlete also made her a wealthy personality and an international figure.

Sharapova's greatest sports-related achievement was when she grabbed the championship title from Serena Williams at the 2004 Wimbledon Tournament.
