Born as Amanda Leigh, Mandy Moore became a popular teen sensation due to her singing prowess. Even at an early age, Moore would perform at several national events, proving the flexibility of her voice. At age fourteen, her demo tape reached Sony Records and in the subsequent year, her debut record entitled "So Real" was launched. Moore was also part of a Backstreet Boys tour and continued to share her talents by recording other hit singles.
Her acting career also gained recognition after her successful role in the drama flick "A Walk To Remember" in 2002. Her other film projects include "Try Seventeen" in 2002 and "How To Deal" in 2003.
