Baby Spice Emma Bunton was born Emma Lee Bunton on January 21, 1976 in Barnet, a borough in the city of London, England. In Finchley, a town in Barnet, she attended the Roman Catholic Primary School and tried her hand in acting by enrolling in the Sylvia Young Theater School, around which she lost an audition for the role of Bianca in the BBC soap opera "EastEnders."
In 1994, an unknown group called Touch lost a member, and here Emma stepped in, which proved to be a good move for both her and the group. This all-girl group was later renamed Spice Girls. As Baby Spice, she was often seen on the album covers with pigtails and a lollipop. Emma went on a fairly successful solo career after the Spice Girls disbanded. Last June, the group announced that a Spice Girls reunion is in the works.
