Elizabeth Berkley

Elizabeth Berkley, born July 28, 1974 in Michigan, started out in musicals in her home state, did bit roles in movies and television series. Elizabeth landed a role in an NC-17 movie that critics say ruined what could have been a stellar film career, and found fame in Broadway.

After playing the character of Kathy in the 1987 TV film, "Frog," she rubbed elbows with teen goddess Tiffani Thiessen in the 80's hit "Saved by the Bell," and crash-landed (or so critics say) when she accepted the lead role in the 1995 movie "Showgirls." She later lifted herself up and appeared in independent movies and Broadway plays and married Ralph Lauren's nephew, Gregg in 2003.
