American actress Sarah Jessica Parker was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on March 25, 1965. She is particularly known for her famous and award-winning character as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, a popular HBO television series, apart from her extensive collection of Manolos. She was able to gather four Golden Globe Awards and Two Emmy Awards for the said show before it even ceased broadcast.

One of her latest movies, the romantic comedy film Failure to Launch showed an obvious success after grossing over twenty four million dollars. Rumors have it that she was supposed to be the co-star of Luke Wilson in the film Vacancy, but she simply turned it down for better offers, so the role went to Kate Beckinsale instead.

She has a son with husband and fellow Matthew Broderick.
