Rebecca Romijn was born in Berkeley, California on November 6, 1972. She first started as a part-time model to support her studies. After some time, she left her studies and pursued full-time modeling (though she found the high fashion world quite intimidating) and obtained contracts from big names in the industry such as Escada and Christian Dior.

She was quite a familiar face from the pages of well-known magazines such as Maxim, Sports Illustrated, and FHM. And as for her career in the movie industry, she is well known for playing the mutant Mystique in the three X-men films as well as playing the leading role in Femme Fatale.
