Paris Hilton has gone from socialite to geek idol. Almost... Or at least this weekend, when she was the guest of honor at the San Diego Comic Convention, as part of her efforts to promote her latest film "Repo: The Genetic Opera", where she plays the daughter of an organ-removal specialist.

The movie attracted Paris Hilton's attention because of being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, the guy who brought us "Saw" a couple years back. About this fact, Paris said: "I'm a huge fan of the Saw movies, so I immediately wanted to sign on. Most people give me the role of the stereotype of what they think I am."
