Karissa Shannon, born on October 2, 1982, is an American model. She and her twin sister are both Playboy Playmates. Hugh Hefner chose the twins to be two of her three girlfriends in 2008. The relationship gave them the opportunity to appear on the TV series The Girls Next Door. Karissa said that they enjoyed her relationship with Hefner not because of romance but because of fun and the opportunity to appear on the show. The twins, who hold the merit of being Playmate of the month for two months, appeared as Miss July and Miss August in the 'double summer issue' of Playboy 2009.
