Elisha Cuthbert has been called hot, sexy and even naughty before, but it's doubtful that she's ever been referred to as "sloppy seconds".

Since in Hollywood there's always a first time for everything, her ex-boyfriend, NHL player Sean Avery just did her the honors, thanks to her romance with Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf.

In a statement issued to reporters in Calgary after a practice on Tuesday, the Dallas Stars player said: "I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don't know what that's about."

These "inappropriate public comments" just earned Sean a suspension and he's scheduled to talk with the NHL commissioner to determine if additional penalties will be applied.
