Courtney Love

As a musician, Courtney Love has played in a lot of bands, some of which are Faith No More, Sugar Baby Doll, The Pagan Babies, and Babes in Toyland. She had more success when it comes to her career in acting, which she started by appearing in Straight to Hell, Sid and Nancy, as well as a couple of small roles in some television shows.

She then taught herself how to play the guitar and placed an advertisement in a Flipside issue because she wanted to form a band, which had Eric Erlandson replying, and together they co-founded the band Hole. Pretty On The Inside, the band's first album, was released by Caroline Records and received positive reviews from the British alternative music press. Although she has gotten into scrapes and found herself inside a drug rehab at one point, Courtney Love claims that she's changed and has been inspired.

Courtney Love is Woman of the Year

Courtney Love has been named Woman of the Year by Elle UK editors, while during the same event, Sienna Miller won the award as Elle Style Icon for her "unique fashion forward style". comments (0)
