Canadian girl Avril Lavigne has been singing since she was a little kid, has taught herself how to play the guitar when she was twelve, and can write a song in a day. When she turned sixteen, she moved to Manhattan to start working on her debut album. In year 2002, she released her first album, Let Go, which went on to sell 18 million copies all over the world and was actually certified six times platinum in the United States.
Aside from having five songs at number one, Lavigne has also appeared in some films, her first being Over The Hedge, and the others being The Flock and Fast Food Nation, along with a cameo appearance on the film Going The Distance.
For some people, fame is not a good thing. Take Avril Lavigne for instance. This Canadian babe is so famous and so spoiled (not to mention so hot and filthy rich) that she thinks she is superior to all of us common mortals. That's why she recently cancelled eight concert dates of the tour that would take her all over United States, Canada and Europe, alleging she's too sick to perform. Of course, her tour schedule couldn't be changed to fit those spots back in.
