Golden Globe-nominee Eva Jacqueline Longoria was born on March 15, 1975 to what she admitted a hard life in Corpus Christi, Texas. She lived on a ranch, tilling farmland, which the Longorias have owned for years and (she said in interviews) have been called "la prieta fea" (the ugly dark one) by her sisters--a far cry from her life now.
Eva tried her luck in Los Angeles after winning a talent contest in her hometown and landed roles in "Beverly Hills 90210," "General Hospital," and "The Young And The Restless" before "Desperate Housewives" came and turned her character Gabrielle Solis into a household name. She married NBA guard and MVP Tony Parker last July.
